Best Price Cheap Raising the Bar: The Complete Second Season Discount Review Shop
Being an avid fan of Steven Bochco drama, I picked up a dvd copy of “Raising The Bar – The Complete First Season” when it was first released, back in June. His first rate writing and production credits continue, along with the stellar cast he chose to breathe life into this, his latest legal drama. Whilst visiting the U.S. recently, I tuned in to TNT and caught up with some Second Season episodes. Suffice is to say, I am looking forward to a Complete Second Season DVD release. Steven Bochco’s contribution to lifting the standards of television drama are very much appreciated by this loyal popular culture/media enthusiast.
YEEEHHH!!!! As of Tuesday 23rd February 2010, it has been announced “Raising The Bar – The Complete Second Season” has a DVD street date. Well done Lionsgate!!!!

Best Price Cheap Dragon Ball Z: Dragon Box Three Discount Review Shop
The Dragonball Z box set 3 is pretty amazing! I love it. I mean in this boxset, this is where everything starts out, through this is where enemies/friends are rejoined and help eachother out! I love it!
-The thing I love the MOST about DB/Z/GT is that it is like a Christian show!!
Goku is the one who always leads everyone the correct way, He is the savior of the world! (Symbolic to God leading us the right way & being our Savior!)
Goku trains & helps his friends to become good fighters (Symbolic to God “training” us in His Word)
Goku trusts in his friends knowing they will do the right thing. (Symbolic to God trusting that His true followers will obey Him & go His way)
Goku always shows love & mercy even to his enemies & evil people. (Symbolic to God showing all us people, whom have broken His Perfect Law -The Ten Commandments- and yet He still gives us Mercy to flee from sin & follow Him)
Goku believes anyone can change their life from bad, to good. (Symbolic to fleeing from our sins & following the Will of God)
Goku was like a father, always protecting people from evil (Symbolic to how God protects us from evil & when the storms comes, He’s still with us)
Everytime it seems hopeless & like evil will prevail & there is no way out, Goku is always there to help! (Symbolic to no matter how strong the temptation or urge is, God always provides a way out for us because He is with us)
When the Saiyans or other fighters feel like there is no hope, they go into a new level of strength (Symbolic to when you are weakest you are strongest)
Like with us when we feel we can’t resist the temptation or do the Will of God, we still press on and reach a new level or strength…..haha, like a Spiritual Super Saiyan, being much stronger into & with God then we were before.
When the fighters are fighting & they feel there is no hope, someone else usually comes to the aid (Symbolic to God will never leave us & He always provides help)
DBZ is not only a great show but I look at it through a Christian sense, look at it as a Christian sense, it’s symbolic, it’ll make it 10x better! I know it did for me!

Edward Anhalt’s academy award winning screenplay adatation of Jen Anauilh’s play is, as many have mentioned, exceptional, the cinematography, and costume design superb, the direction nearly flawless, but it is the exquisitely realized performances of Burton ( as Becket ), and O’Toole ( as Henry II ) that command attention in this sumptuous tale of a doomed friendship ( and, of course, an epic battle of church and state ). Whether you like religious films, political intrigue, historical epics, or just ascerbic, and intelligent dialogue, there are very few pictures that can contend with BECKET.

Best Price Cheap Law Abiding Citizen Discount Review Shop
“Law Abiding Citizen” is a thriller with a fairly unique twist in that the bad guy is already in prison when he gets serious about killing people. The victim of a brutal home invasion, Clyde Shelton (Gerard Butler) has to watch as his wife and daughter are savagely murdered. Then the American criminal justice system adds insult to injury when Philadelphia assistant district attorney Nick Rice (Jamie Foxx) decides to plead the case out, despite the protestations and outrage of Clyde. The details justifying the plea bargain are rather nebulous, because the main idea is to set up the profound sense of injustice that will send Clyde off the deep end. Even if Clyde’s eye-witness testimony would be suspect in court, it is certainly enough for Nick to make sure that even if the letter of the law dictates that both criminals are equally culpable for the murders that the one Clyde insists did the actual killing is not the one who gets the better deal. Certainly the D.A. can make the same deal with the other guy. But the devil is not in the details here, so all that really matters is that Clyde sees Nick shaking hands with the scum of the earth who killed his family. Once the prologue is ten years past, we get to the execution of the guy who got the short end of the deal and things go horribly wrong. Then Nick uses a more direct approach to dispatch of the thug who did the actual killing, showing a flair worthy of Dante or Jigsaw.
I would say that my problem with this 2009 film is that my sympathies are way more with Clyde than with Nick, but to tell the truth I did not mind rooting for Clyde, even though he is admittedly not in the same class as previous guilty pleasure bad guys like Richard III and Hannibal Lecter. The main selling point of the movie is that you get caught up way more with “what” he is doing and “how” he is doing, especially since you already know the “why.” Each “what” is a fairly sophisticated way of disposing of the people on his hit list , while the “how” has to do with the fact that for most of the movie Clyde is not only in prison, but in solitary confinement. Screenwriter Kurt Wimmer, who also wrote the script for the remake of “The Thomas Crown Affair,” certainly knows how to come with elegant crimes, although this time around the goal is to kill people rather than steal paintings, and I like the explanation for how Clyde is able to do all that he does, once we finally get around to the origins of his peculiar set of skills. Beyond that, Nick does not fit the bill as a worthy hero, not only because he is slow to catch on that people are dying because he is several moves behind in this killer chess game, but also because he fails to see himself as being culpable in any way, shape, or form for the gross injustice that set all of this in motion. The more Nick stuck to his “principles” and refused to follow Clyde’s instructions, the more I was actually hoping for an ironic ending where Nick literally feels Clyde’s pain. Director F. Gary Gray (“The Italian Job”) goes a bit over the top with the big ending, which really runs counter to the feel of the rest of the film, but that is probably what happens when the mandated ending is an attempt to balance the scales before the end credits. After all, we cannot have somebody bringing down our criminal justice system, can we? Consequently, “Law Abiding Citizen” is one of those films where the journey is better than the final destination.
This last paragraph is only for the eyes of those who have seen the film, so beware: there be spoilers here. While watching this movie I was bothered by the whole idea that Clyde Shelton has an accomplice who works as the “Mr. Outside” counterpart to his “Mr. Inside,” simply because there are really no logical possibilities to who that might be. A lot of times in movies you can figure out the surprise because there are only a limited number of possible suspects. So I was pretty much convinced they were going to have to pull one out of left field, and was actually pleased when they avoided doing that. However, I was less enamored with the convenient mistakes that Clyde made to allow Nick to put two and two together in the final reel. I also understand why Nick was so slow to catch on to the fact that Clyde has already put everything in place before he made his first demand behind bars. Of course, the more I think about this film the more flaws I find in it, even if they were not painfully apparent during my first viewing. However, I find it interesting that most of my thoughts are about the few but key changes Clyde could have done to ensure his plan played out to its intended end.

Best Price Cheap Ultimate Stretch Yoga Workout – ALL LEVELS – (NOW WITH THE MATRIX!) Ana Brett, Ravi Singh Discount Review Shop
I have never done yoga before, but I really wanted a workout DVD to stretch with. I normally do high impact Turbo Jam for cardio, and am currently overweight (but working it down!) and I wanted a lower key alternative. So here is my impression after receiving the DVD yesterday and doing one workout. It is definitely very “mystical” if that’s the right word – a lot of meditation, prayer and chanting. I could have done with a little less at the end, but otherwise it wasn’t terrible. With the Matrix option on this DVD too, you can customize what portions you do, so you could skip over what you don’t want. Tonight I’m probably going to try taking out the prayer section at the end, and maybe doing some of the stretching sections twice. I’ve never done yoga before, and when I had tried one other “beginner” yoga DVD, it started with a pose that I couldn’t do at all and I gave up. This practice is somewhat more advanced, but still very easy to follow. The descriptions were helpful, and the more complex poses were offered with modifications (for example, the Wheel, which I know I absolutely can not do). I planned to just watch through the DVD once, but was actually able to follow along on first viewing. This definitely gives you a great stretch, and a great introduction to breathing properly. By the middle of the workout, I felt more limber and loose already. Today I’m not sore and I am looking forward to doing the workout again tonight. I also liked how there is a lot of movement and associated breathing – it’s not just static poses. This makes it feel like you are really pushing your muscles as well as stretching. It is mentally relaxing as well, and I did enjoy the music, but I do like reggae in general. While I am skeptical about some parts, I am glad I purchased this, and look forward to doing it more.
